"Weeping Over Nauvoo II" -- Nauvoo Temple print
Years ago my dad was serving a mission in Nauvoo. I expressed to a friend my desire to go and visit him and the area while he was there, and she told me the same thing my dad had often told me: "If it's important, the money will be there." I went home and checked one of our bank accounts, and miraculously some stock had sold that was exactly the amount we needed to make the trip.
Exploring the area surrounding the newly rebuilt temple, I caught the temple from a distance, as seen through the leaves and fronds of a weeping willow tree. How very fitting. Both tears of sorrow and tears of joy have been shed over leaving and losing this temple, and then having it rebuilt for us to worship in and enjoy, generations later.
The original has long since sold, but I have at least one print in stock and can order more.
