Framed original from my plein air painting adventure in Capitol Reef earlier this month. Painted on location in late morning. After driving down a dirt road, I abandoned one painting after the value study, when I turned around and found the perfect painting location was right behind me! I loved the morning rays of light, and the contrast of the deep ridges along the flats.
