Water and Wisteria
11 x 14 original watercolor. Float-mounted with deckle edge, matted and framed. The man-made falls at Thanksgiving Point are among the largest in North America. I was immediately struck by the power of these falls, and the juxtaposition of normally calm wisteria and the rushing water below. This is a rhythm painting, focused on capturing the gesture and flow of the falls, flowers and cliffs. A personal favorite.
